Biography
In Thomas and Friends season 4 episode "Rusty To The Rescue" Stepney was stuck in a siding preparing to be scrapped, luckily for him, Rusty came by. Rusty would save him from scrap and Sir Topham Hatt would assign Stepney to the Bluebell railway.
Later on, Stepney would come to Sir Topham Hatt's railway to help with the increasing amount of work. All the engines welcomed Stepney when he came, Thomas was originally jealous but after seeing how humble Stepney was he couldn't help but conversate with him. On Stepney's last day a diesel on loan from British Railway's named Class 40 rudely referred to the steam engines as out of date and inefficient. Later on, in an attempt to show off Class 40 would get the engine inspectors bowler hat stuck in his air intake. This would lead to Duck & Stepney taking the passenger train to the big station. Stepney & Duck made a great time and Stepney headed back to the Bluebell railway.
Stepney would come back later on in the season 5 episode "Stepney Gets Lost", where he would take an extra train late at night with heavy fog. This heavy fog confused him and his crew and would end up leading him into a scrap yard where the 2 twin diesel shunters 'Arry and Bert would place him under a claw used for scrapping. Sir Topham Hatt would save him once again, upon this event occurring Stepney stated "There's no place like home" and headed back home to the Bluebell railway.
Stepney would later only make cameos and very minor supporting roles.
